MountainBea is a Himachal Pradesh–based private limited company that has run Ladakh and Spiti motorcycle, 4WD and backpacking expeditions since 2018, and has hosted over 3,000 travellers.

The Summer Spiti Backpacking Tour is the easiest way to see the full circuit in a group vehicle with a trip captain. For riders, the Leh Ladakh Motorcycle Expedition has a rest day and a backup vehicle.

No. Dates you choose are preferred dates for your request. Our team confirms the current operating schedule and availability with you before accepting a booking.

Prices shown are indicative, per person. Ask for a written quote for your dates that lists inclusions, exclusions, the payment schedule and cancellation terms before you commit.

Inner Line Permits are included on all tours. Motorcycle fuel is included on the Ladakh motorcycle expedition.

You should be comfortable riding a 400–450 cc motorcycle on mixed roads. If not, ride dual-sharing with a friend or take a seat in the backup vehicle (₹1,500 per day).

Our departures run from April to October. June to September has the most stable roads and weather; April, May and October bring snow and colder nights.

Yes. Inner Line Permits for Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake, the Ladakh union fee and environmental charges are included.

Day 1 is a rest day. The backup vehicle carries an oxygen cylinder and an oximeter, and the captain monitors everyone. Carry your own altitude medicine as well.

A Royal Enfield mechanic with spares travels with the group. Repairs caused by rider mishandling are charged separately.

The tour starts and ends in Leh and flights are not included. Most riders fly from Delhi to Leh and join the group on day 1. Message us on WhatsApp if you want help planning the Delhi leg.

It starts at ₹19,999 per person for two riders sharing a Himalayan 411 bike. A solo rider on the same bike pays ₹24,999. The Himalayan 450 is ₹23,999 per person when shared and ₹29,999 for a solo rider. GST of 5% is extra unless stated as included.

Breakfast and dinner as per the itinerary are included. Lunch is not included.

Lamayuru, about 120 km from Leh, has eroded rock formations that look like a lunar surface. The tour includes a full day there.

Mostly by SUV. One day of Himalayan bike riding is included, and fuel for that day is extra.

Yes. The group travels in one vehicle with a trip captain, and the itinerary gives a full day in Kaza to settle into the altitude.

Pay the ₹5,000 per seat booking amount. Seats are first come, first served, and the balance is due 3 days before the trip by bank transfer. The ₹3,000 per person slot booking is non-refundable.

Yes. Each batch has a trip captain, mechanical support and 24x7 customer support, and carries a first-aid kit, oxygen cylinders and an oximeter.

Temperatures can drop as low as -40°C. Hotels are heated or have heaters, and you should pack proper thermals, gloves and an insulated jacket.

January and February are the peak snow months. Late December is our top-selling window, and October to November and March are lighter, with less snow.

Yes. Roads can be covered in snow or ice, so we use 4×4 SUVs with experienced drivers and carry snow chains.

Pin Valley is dropped when there is a road closure, landslide or heavy snow, and the rest of the itinerary continues.

Solo travellers get a seat in a group 4WD SUV. Groups of 2–3 travel in a Jimny, groups of up to 5 in a Scorpio N. Hilux or Fortuner costs ₹10,000 more per person.

Yes. Solo travellers get a seat in a group SUV and pay ₹6,000 extra.

Six nights in Standard or Deluxe hotels: Narkanda 1, Kalpa or Sangla 1, Tabo 1, Kaza 2 and Kalpa 1. Breakfast and dinner are included at all hotels.

Pay ₹1,500 per person when you book, then 30% 20 days before departure. The balance is due on day 2 of the tour, and you get a secure payment link, a confirmation voucher and a receipt.
