Itinerary
Day 1: Manali to Jispa via Rohtang & Baralacha La
Ride from Manali crossing Rohtang Pass (13,050 ft) into Lahaul. Pass through Keylong, cross Baralacha La (16,040 ft) to reach Jispa.
Day 2: Jispa to Padum via Shinkula Pass
The most adventurous day! Branch off to Shinkula Pass (16,580 ft). Descend into Zanskar Valley through dramatic gorges. Arrive at Padum.
Day 3: Zanskar Valley Exploration
Explore Karsha Monastery on a hill and Stongdey Monastery. Visit Zanskar River confluence. Interact with local Zanskari people.
Day 4: Padum to Kargil via Pensi La
Cross scenic Pensi La (14,436 ft) with breathtaking Drang Drung Glacier views. Descend through Suru Valley. Arrive at Kargil.
Day 5: Kargil to Leh via Lamayuru
Ride along Indus River. Visit Lamayuru Monastery — one of Ladakh's oldest. See Indus-Zanskar confluence at Nimmu. Reach Leh.
Day 6: Leh to Nubra via Khardung La
Conquer Khardung La (18,380 ft). Descend into Nubra. Visit Diskit Monastery and Maitreya Buddha. Evening at Hunder dunes.
Day 7: Nubra to Pangong via Shyok
Ride along Shyok River to Pangong Tso. Watch the lake change from deep blue to turquoise as the sun sets. Lakeside camping.
Day 8: Pangong to Leh via Chang La
Sunrise at Pangong. Ride back via Chang La (17,590 ft). Stop at Thiksey Monastery. Evening celebration dinner in Leh.
Day 9: Departure from Leh
Breakfast at hotel. Airport transfer. Depart with certificates, memories, and stories for a lifetime.
