Itinerary
Day 1: Overnight Journey – Delhi to Shimla
Overnight AC Volvo bus from Delhi (Kashmiri Gate / RK Ashram) to Shimla (approx. 8–9 hrs). Comfortable push-back seats, smooth highway journey, night travel for a fresh morning start.
Day 2: Shimla Arrival → Pickup → Sangla (via Narkanda)
Morning arrival at Shimla; pick up Jimny 4×4 and drive towards Sangla via Narkanda, Rampur & Karcham Dam. Narkanda & Hatu Peak viewpoint (weather permitting), River Sutlej valley drive, Karcham Dam landscape.
Day 3: Sangla → Chitkul → Nako → Tabo
Morning visit to Chitkul (Last Indian Village), then proceed to Nako Lake & Monastery before reaching Tabo. Chitkul snow valley, Nako Lake viewpoint, high-altitude mountain drive.
Day 4: Tabo → Dhankar → Frozen Lingti Waterfall → Kaza
Explore Tabo Monastery, drive to Dhankar, and enter Pin Valley (if road open) en route to Kaza. Tabo Monastery ('Ajanta of Himalayas'), Dhankar Monastery's winter viewpoint, Mud Village (Pin Valley).
Day 5: Kaza Local Sightseeing
Visit: Key Monastery, Chicham Bridge, Hikkim (world's highest post office), Komic (world's highest village), and Langza (Buddha Statue). Main Attractions: Key Monastery, Hikkim Post Office, Langza Buddha Statue.
Day 6: Kaza → Tabo → Gue → Kalpa
Descend from Spiti Valley towards Kinnaur region. Gue Monastery (if not visited earlier), Pine forests of Kalpa, Kinner Kailash Range. Mesmerizing sunrise and sunset views over snow peaks.
Day 7: Kalpa → Shimla → Delhi
Drive to Shimla, hand over the Jimny 4×4, and board the overnight AC Volvo to Delhi. Beautiful descent from Kalpa, evening departure from Shimla.
Day 8: Delhi Arrival
Morning arrival in Delhi — marking the end of your unforgettable Spiti Valley Expedition. Carry home beautiful memories, pictures, and the spirit of the Himalayas. Expected arrival time: 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM (approx.)
